Drs. Sali Jonuz has a degree in General Biology, with a specialisation in ecology. Raised in Macedonia with Albanian and Turkeys roots, he has taken a great interest in the development of the Balkans and holds over 35 years of experience in the Balkan region and Turkey in water-environmental and energy projects.
With Ballast Nedam Business Development operational in the Balkan region
with modular waste water treatment plants (WWTP) and with Ballast Nedam Environmental
Technology investigating the field of water management, WWTP, drinking water plants, and flood
protection. Various activities regarding waste services, soil cleaning projects and landfills.
With the Antea Group engaged in a wide range of water management and flood protection projects.
Recenty involved in energy projects with BT Projects in North Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania.
Good understanding of languages and culture of the Balkan region, a large network, contacts with
local water companies, overhead, Ministries, NGO Organisations, investing banks, EU funds.
Sali Jonuz features an extensive network in Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo,
Turkey and speaks fluently Dutch, English, Macedonian, Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Turkish, and Albanian.
